July 22 - Rest day in Dawson City

I've had a relaxing day in Dawson City. There's a music festival going on so there's lots of people here and a feeling of excitment in the air.
The excitment seems appropriate to me because I'm nervous about heading up the Dempster tomorrow. It will be at least 4 days before a phone is available. If you haven't heard from me, send out the helicopters. No, just kidding.
